Job summary

Amethyst-Asia-Partners-Pte.-Ltd. is seeking a Finance Manager on an 8-month contract based in Singapore. The role covers month-end closing, reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance within a hedge fund environment.

You will partner with business teams, manage statutory reporting for Singapore, collaborate with Tax on taxes, and oversee treasury activities while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• At least 6 years' experience in finance within financial institutions such as hedge funds, investment trading firms, or investment banking.
• Solid experience in statutory reporting.
• Good understanding of financial products.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Motivated, detail-oriented and independent.
• Exposure or interest in a tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing for financial reporting for Singapore and Hong Kong entities.
• Prepare management reporting, budgets and forecasts with business partners.
• Cover statutory reporting for the Singapore entity and ensure regulatory inputs are accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with Tax team on income tax, GST, transfer pricing, etc.
• Cover treasury operations: cash forecasting, liquidity, foreign exchange management.
• Work with finance team to ensure smooth operations and controls.
• Contribute to documentation and automation initiatives.
• Handle ad-hoc duties related to finance and operations when necessary.
