Job summary

PepsiCo Singapore seeks a Finance Lead to join the site Leadership team, providing ongoing financial guidance to management and leading multi-sector financial leadership for the Singapore plant supporting APAC markets.

You will oversee the Annual Operating Plan, actuals and forecasts, and drive KPIs, audits, and regulatory matters with local authorities and HQ, while partnering across functions to improve cost controls and financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration with Accounting major or equivalent.
• 8+ years PQE in accounting and finance leadership roles.
• Proven strategic thinking and ability to manage complexity and change.
• Extensive control experience and Sox familiarity.
• Experience with SAP and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan for the Singapore site and consolidate strategy for the location.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and review variances vs plan.
• Drive productivity initiatives with the management team to hit annual targets.
• Monitor operating costs and revenue transactions ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Lead month-end/periodic reporting and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Maintain and improve control environment; assign control owners and oversee risk management.

Job description

We are looking for a Finance Lead for PepsiCo Singapore where the successful candidate will be part of the site Leadership team, providing ongoing financial advice and guidance to the management team. They will provide multi-sector financial leadership for the Singapore plant supporting the fast-growing Asia Pacific markets. The role will lead the Operating Costs Annual Operating Plan, actuals and forecast for the Singapore plant, managing the Periodic Business Review, financial and operational audits and drive execution of operating and non-operating KPIs. In addition, this role will also be the business liaison with local Singapore authorities and HQ on all controls and regulatory matters.

Planning and Forecasting

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan covering operating costs for the manufacturing location, prepare and consolidate the locations overall strategy and present to Support Centre on an annual basis.
• Prepare and review quarterly forecasts during the year, leading the reviews on the Cause of Change v Plan and prior year and presenting to Support Centre.
• Lead the agenda on Productivity for the location. Collaborate with the Management Team to identify projects to ensure the Plant meets its annual targets.

Financial Reporting and Transaction Processing

• Monitor operating costs and revenue accounting transactions impacting Concentrate Manufacturing Singapore Pte Ltd (CMSPL) for accuracy and reasonability.
• Lead the periodic and month end reporting of operating costs.
• Ensure integrity of all processes that directly and indirectly support financial reporting throughout the relevant Singapore Legal Entities.
• Lead development and implementation of best practice tools which improve accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness of financial transaction processing & reporting.

Controls

• Define roles and responsibilities for Singapore Legal Entity controls and financials.
• Lead the financial control processes within the legal entities, ensuring they are operating effectively and efficiently and support the business activities that affect the Legal Entity Revenue and Cost of Manufacture.
• Ensure Risk Control Matrix for all cycles is maintained and up-to-date.
• Lead the implementation of improvements to the control environment to maintain PepsiCo Standards. Analyse business processes, particularly in the event of a significant business or system change, and work with process owners to develop controls and assign control owners.
• Undertake appropriate assessment, communication and management of financial risks across P&L and Balance Sheet.

Compliance

• Responsible for Sox testing coordination and reporting for CMSPL.
• Act as point person for communication & Resolution of accounting, reporting and control issues between CMSPL and HQ.
• Liaise with external auditors in support of their requirements
• Compliance with all Manufacturing GMP and Plant Food Safety Policies
• Ensure compliance with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards

PRE-REQUISITES

• Bachelor Business Administration, Major Accounting / Accountancy Qualification.
• 8 years+ PQE in Accounting and Finance leadership roles
• Proven Strategic thinking capability
• Proven ability to manage business complexity and change, and manage multiple priorities
