Job summary

Playpoint Group is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller in overseeing accounting, financial reporting, group consolidation, budgeting and forecasting for Playpoint Group.

You will work with finance teams across the Group to ensure timely financial information, strong controls and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements; you’ll supervise the finance team and assist during audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance/accounting systems.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support the Group’s annual audit process and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Review quarterly GST submissions for Singapore subsidiaries.
• Maintain and strengthen effective financial controls and accounting procedures across the Group.
• Review finance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and internal controls.
• Supervise and guide finance team members to ensure effective performance and timely completion of responsibilities.
• Provide support and assume the responsibilities of other finance team members during periods of absence, as required, to ensure the continuity of finance operations
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Financial Controller or Directors from time to time.

About theRole
