Job summary

800 Super Waste Management Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Finance Department and lead a capable team. This role focuses on consolidations across about 12 entities and timely financial reporting to Headquarters.

You will generate monthly segment performance analyses, advise on resource allocation, manage cash flow, and ensure GST compliance and external audit coordination.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or professional equivalent.
• 6–10 years of accounting or audit experience with at least 2 years in management.
• Strong knowledge of risks and controls across business functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Prepare and review yearly financial statements.
• Cashflow management.
• Implement process improvements and controls in Finance Department.
• Quarterly GST filing.
• AR management – ensure billing on time.
• Liaise with external auditor for year-end reporting and tax filing.
• Ad hoc duties as needed.

1. Oversee daily operations of Finance Department and manage team;

2. Responsible for preparation of monthly consolidation of about 12 entities (3 consolidation within the same group);

3. Responsible for generation of monthly Business Segment Performance and compare the Actual versus Budget Business Segment Performance;

4. Analyse Business Segment performance to make recommendations on the resource allocation, where necessary;

5. Preparation and checking of monthly reporting to Headquarters and ensure reporting on timely manner;

6. Preparation and review of yearly financial statements

7. Cashflow management

8. Implement solutions and process review to financial challenges and issue procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Financial Department activities, where necessary;

9. Quarterly GST filing;

10. AR management – ensure billing on time;

11. Liaise with external auditor for year-end regulatory reporting, annual tax filing returns, etc.

12. Ad hoc duties as and when needed

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or other professional equivalent qualifications
• At least 6 to 10 years of relevant accounting experiences and/ or audit experiences with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
• Possess strong interest and sound knowledge of risks and controls in various business functions.
• Strong analytical ability with an eye for details
• Competency in Microsoft Excel , Word, PowerPoint
• Good communication skills to resolve issues and discussion with stakeholders to derive feasible and practical counter measures/action plans
• Meticulous, willing to learn and has strong drive for improvement
• Mature, professional and strong commitment to work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
