Job summary

Talent Titans Pte Ltd is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the full finance and accounting function for its ship management operations in Singapore. The role entails managing financial statements, budgeting, cash flow and regulatory compliance, while liaising with auditors and authorities to ensure robust financial governance.

The candidate will lead a finance team, drive internal controls, and deliver insightful management reports to support strategic expansion and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in shipping, ship management, or offshore/marine services.
• Ability to lead a finance team and implement internal controls.
• Familiarity with statutory, tax, GST and corporate regulations in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, GST, and corporate regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, insurers, and government authorities.
• Manage vessel/project costing, operational expenditures, and financial performance reporting.
• Review contracts and advise management on financial risks and commercial implications.
• Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and process improvements.
• Lead and mentor the finance team while supporting business expansion initiatives.
• Prepare management reports and present financial insights to senior management.
