Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.

You will oversee AP/AR/GL, budgeting, statutory reporting, and liaise with auditors and banks, while developing the accounting team and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy; professional qualifications preferred.
• Experience as an accounting manager with audit exposure and team leadership.
• Experience in intercompany accounting and group consolidation.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end financial closing.
• Knowledge of ERP accounting modules.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regs, statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, regulators.
• Review and enhance accounting policies and internal controls.
• Analyze financial performance and provide profitability insights.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management; handle ad hoc projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

FINANCE MANAGER

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable(AR), General Ledger (GL), fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities on financial and compliance matters.
• Review and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to enhance profitability and cost management.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team to ensure high standards of performance and accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management, and undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy with professional accounting qualifications preferred
• Experienced accounting manager with both experience in external audit and experience in leading and managing accounting team
• Proven experience in intercompany accounting and group consolidation
• Proven experience in managing / improving end-to-end financial closing process
• Knowledge in ERP software (especially accounting module)
