Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore seeks a visionary Finance technologist to shape the department's digital future. You will identify opportunities to apply AI, automation and digital technologies to transform how financial work is performed, from idea to scale.

You will translate business needs into practical end-to-end solutions, design and implement AI-enabled workflows, and lead the operationalisation of successful initiatives while balancing security, data and system constraints across the Finance domain.

Qualifications

• Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Master's degree in Data Science is advantageous.
• Experience in AI, automation, digital solutions or business process improvement is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM and automation tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical digital solutions (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
