Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore seeks a forward-thinking professional to harness AI, automation and digital tech to transform financial work. You will identify opportunities, develop and operationalise digital solutions from problem identification to adoption and scale.

You will translate business needs into practical end-to-end processes, design and implement AI-enabled workflows, and lead cross-functional collaboration to monitor outcomes and drive value across Finance.

Qualifications

Education in Computer Science/Information Systems/Data Science/Engineering or related field preferred.
Master's in Data Science advantageous.
Experience in AI, automation, digital solutions or process improvement preferred.
Familiarity with AI/LLM and automation tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, RPA or Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to translate business needs into practical digital solutions.

Understand pain points and identify opportunities where AI, automation, and digital technologies can create value.
Translate business needs into practical end-to-end solutions.
Design, develop and implement AI-enabled and automated workflows.
Explore and evaluate emerging capabilities and technologies.
Lead the operationalisation of successful solutions and scale them across Finance.
Encourage experimentation and innovation across Finance.
Monitor solution performance, user adoption and business outcomes.
Identify opportunities for enhancement and scale proven solutions.
