Job summary

RHB Banking Group in Singapore is seeking a Manager, Financial Governance, Tax & Services to join our Finance team. You will oversee daily financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

The role calls for 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. Big 4 exposure is a plus, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in external audit, tax, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel; Big 4 experience is an advantage.
• Resourceful, independent, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for subsidary
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Review and analyse balance sheet and profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/FRS and internal accounting policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Support corporate tax, withholding tax, GST/VAT and deferred tax reporting requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and management responses
• Participate in finance transformation, automation and system enhancement projects.
• Support Head of Finance and Section Head in relation to financial reporting
