Job summary

CEI PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Finance Data & Analytics professional to support closing, reporting and data-driven insights. You will leverage AI-enabled tools and BI platforms to enhance financial performance and drive strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with engineers and project teams on ERP implementation, automation, forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis, delivering actionable insights and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in digital finance, data analytics, and AI applications in finance.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or automation tools is a plus.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with ability to partner with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports, audit schedules, balance sheets, and cash flow statements with automated tools.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics platforms to analyse financial performance.
• Develop dashboards/reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Apply predictive analytics to support data-driven decisions.
• Assist in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting using data models.
• Perform cost analyses and investigate variances in manufacturing and operations.
• Support financial planning with data insights and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers/project managers to provide financial insights.
• Support operational decision-making through financial modelling.
• Participate in ERP implementation and finance system enhancement projects.
• Drive process improvements via RPA and automation tools.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Job Description

1. Financial Operations & Reporting

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Assist to prepare financial reports, audit schedules, balance sheets, and cash flow statements using automated tools and digital systems
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

2. Data Analytics & Digital Finance

• Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics platforms to analyse financial performance and identify business insights
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Apply predictive analytics to support data-driven decision-making

3. Forecasting, Budgeting & Cost Analysis

• Assist in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting using data models and scenario analysis
• Perform cost analysis (manufacturing, material, and operational costs) and investigate variances
• Support financial planning processes with data insights and trend analysis

4. Business Partnering

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Support operational decision-making through financial modelling and analysis

5. Digital Transformation & Projects

• Participate in ERP implementation and finance system enhancement projects, including automation and AI integration
• Drive process improvements through RPA, automation tools, and digital workflows
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes
