Job summary

CIBC's Singapore Finance Shared Services unit is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to ensure timely regulatory and statutory reporting, accurate financial statements, and robust financial controls for the Singapore office.

You will collaborate with internal and external auditors, regulators and tax teams, review product structures for compliance, and support regional projects as part of the Head of Finance Singapore's team.

Qualifications

• Qualified CPA or equivalent professional designation.
• Experience with MAS regulatory reporting for wholesale banks is preferred.
• Global markets product knowledge and IFRS/Canadian requirements are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of internal and external financial reporting.
• Review new products and advise on regulatory and accounting structures and systems.
• Timely preparation and submission of MAS regulatory reports.
• Maintain good working relationships with auditors, advisors and regulators.
• Apply financial controls to provide accurate information.
• Assist tax team with information for income tax returns and transfer pricing.
• Maintain reporting systems to aid automation and timely information.
• Participate in projects to support new products and business lines.
