Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Finance Controller for its Singapore Nutrition business to provide financial planning, control and business partnership for maximizing commercial objectives.

You will lead controllership activities, planning, reporting and cash flow, and work with leadership to set goals, monitor sales and margins, and drive timely actions and process improvements with the ANI team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related disciplines.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Minimum of 10 years management experience.
• Confident communicator with credibility to challenge management.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with high-level strategic oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning, control and stewardship for the Singapore ANI Nutrition business.
• Oversee controllership activities including planning, reporting, analysis and cash flow.
• Lead the establishment of financial goals, strategies and priorities with leadership.
• Track and monitor actual sales and margin performance; address variances.
• Manage department expenses and ensure accurate month-end close.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of reporting and forecasts.
• Prepare plans and reviews; assess reasonableness of assumptions.
• Support commercial team with KPI analysis on contracts, pricing and gross-to-net.
• Participate in margin improvement and process-enhancement initiatives.
• Assess credit-worthiness of customers and distributors; ensure policy adherence.
• Coach Finance Analysts.
