Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in financial markets, treasury products, and technology.
• Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, or other programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Control Monitoring: support the review and testing of controls across various daily monitoring processes to ensure the effectiveness of the bank's control framework
• Trade Surveillance & Investigation: assist in investigating internal trade cancellations and analysing trading activities to support rogue trading prevention and control monitoring
• Internal Controls Review: participate in annual reviews of internal controls and support audit-related activities to understand effective control design and governance practices
• Project & Change Management: support projects impacting control monitoring processes, including testing, implementation, and change management activities
• Digital Transformation: assist in the implementation and transition of initiatives relating to the TFCA Digital Platform and other automation projects
• Application Development & Automation: develop or enhance solutions using technologies such as Python, SQL, Hadoop, Machine Learning, StarBurst, Power BI, QlikView, and other analytical platforms
• Data Analytics & Insights: analyse large datasets to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve operational efficiency and control effectiveness
• Team Collaboration: participate in team discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and brainstorming activities to support innovation and continuous improvement
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on business, technology, and control-related initiatives as assigned
