Job summary

ADVANCE.AI in Singapore is seeking a Finance Business Partner to enable business success through insightful financial analysis and cross-functional partnership.

You will work with Sales, Product, Marketing and Commercial Operations across markets, build budgets, forecasts, pricing frameworks, and drive continuous improvements while leveraging AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as CPA/CFA/CIMA are a plus.
• 3+ years in finance business partnering, FP&A or strategic finance; 6+ years for Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Finance Business Partner to designated units, supporting budget planning, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Develop pricing strategies and profitability analyses for products and deals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing and Commercial Operations across markets.
• Prepare internal reports and present key insights to management.

Overview

We are seeking a strategic finance professional to join us as a Finance Business Partner. This role is ideal for candidates who have a passion for enabling business success through insightful financial analysis and partnership with commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to designated business units, developing a deep understanding of business drivers and proactively supporting management with budget planning, forecasting and performance analysis
• Understand the operational and strategic needs of the business and execute the financial strategy, aligning financial goals with business objectives to drive sustainable growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Marketing and Commercial Operations, across markets
• Conduct robust financial modelling and scenario analyses to assess profitability across products, deals and business initiatives
• Prepare internal reports and presentations, ensuring clear communication of key insights and recommendations
• Develop and optimise pricing for all products, applying and enhancing pricing frameworks to maximise profitable revenue growth and support sales targets
• Drive continuous process improvements across the business and partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives
• Support broader initiatives across the Advance.AI group and Advance Intelligence Group, including ad hoc analysis and other finance-related projects as required
• Assist in deploying AI tooling as appropriate, working cross-functionally to redesign workflows where necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
• Professional certifications, such as CPA, CFA or CIMA, are a plus
• Experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance or strategic finance; 3+ years for Associate/Senior Associate level and 6+ years for Manager level. Experience in corporate finance or fundraising is a plus
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across departments
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; proficiency in BI/data visualisation tools, such as Superset, Power BI or Tableau, and/or SQL, and demonstrable professional experience with AI tools is an advantage
• Track record of supporting commercial teams, ideally in fintech, technology or SaaS industries
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with teams across the organisation
• Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability and initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Results-driven with a bias for action
