Mind stretcher education pte. ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Finance to support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations, financial reporting and compliance in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably with some supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CA Singapore would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial statements following standards.
• Analyze financial data and help shape accounting policies.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, regulatory bodies and other external entities.
• Stay updated on statutory changes and their financial implications.
• Contribute to the organization's financial strategy discussions.
• Protect the confidentiality of financial and operational data.
• Handle special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
