Job summary

IPSOS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a diligent finance professional to manage accounts payable, monthly reconciliations, and job reviews within the Finance team.

You will ensure timely processing of supplier payments and intercompany settlements while maintaining accurate creditors records. The role involves staff expense audits, preparation of general ledger schedules, adherence to accounting policies, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable, monthly reconciliation and job review for finance teams.
• Involvement in Job Review Process with reporting and liaising with Researchers to resolve discrepancies.
• Process payments to suppliers and intercompany, maintain creditors master and payment terms.
• Post supplier invoices and reconcile statements to ensure accurate payments.
• Process and audit staff expense claims with receipts for payment.
• Code and record payments to update accounts payable ledger promptly.
• Verify payments to part-time staff.
• Allocate general expenses (telecom, utilities, rental) to respective business units.
• Prepare general ledger audit schedules and assist audits.
• Assist in accounting reports and ensure policy adherence.
• Prepare Month End journals (bank charges, FX, prepayments).
• Intercompany reconcilations and monthly bank reconciliations.
• GST preparation quarterly.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for functions such as accounts payable, monthly reconciliation, job review etc. for the Finance team.
• Involve in Job Review Process, including preparing and analyzing Jobs related report and liaising with Researchers to clarify and resolve discrepancies or any Job matters arising.
• Process payment to suppliers/Intercompany and maintain creditors master and payment terms.
• Posting of suppliers’ invoices and reconcile supplier’s statement of account to effect payment accurately.
• Process staff expense claims, verify and audit staff expense claims, ensuring that all claims are duly approved and supported with receipt and facilitate payment to staff accordingly.
• Code and record payment to update the accounts payable ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify and prepare payment to part timers.
• Allocation of general expenses such as telecommunication, utilities, rental, etc among the respective business unit.
• Prepare general ledger audit schedule and assist in audit matters.
• Assist in preparing accounting reports and ensure adherence to corporate and statutory accounting policies.
• Month End journal (Bank Charges, FX, Prepayment)
