Job summary

AN LA GHIEN RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support semiconductor equipment worldwide, including deployment to the USA, Taiwan, Korea, Ireland, Germany, China, and Singapore.

You will install, commission, and perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment, diagnose issues, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to safety procedures. English proficiency and strong communication are essential for collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Experience with OEM semiconductor equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for extended deployments (>1 year).
• Excellent communication across diverse teams and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance within set timeframes.
• Diagnose issues using documentation and test equipment with senior support.
• Proactively identify safety and equipment problems and take action.
• Utilize knowledge management systems and adhere to IP guidelines.

• Installation and commissioning of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers
• Proactively recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problems and take appropriate action.
• Use knowledge management systems. Follows all IP guidelines.
• Assume responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within work area.
• Comply with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - electrical or mechanical engineering
• Ability to understand electronic and mechanical systems, detail orientated
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• A plus is having direct experience with OEM semiconductor equipment or equivalent.
• Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods of time. (> 1yr deployment.)
• Working behavior: Friendly and warmly to colleagues; Do exactly missions/ jobs assigned by the leader.
• Strong communication - Able to communicate effectively to all levels of the division, with the various inter-divisional engineering groups, customers, vendors and cultures.
