Job summary

WinGD Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to support on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of two-stroke engines. The role focuses on on-board service, sea trials, and collaboration with customers and service partners to ensure smooth delivery and operation.

You will handle reporting, training when required, and uphold safety and quality standards while working in a dynamic, global shipping technology environment.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree (BSc Mech or Electrical Engineering) with experience as a Service/Commissioning Engineer.
• Experience for 2-stroke engine service & operation including automation system & electronics.
• Preferably vessel service experience including main engine operation and maintenance & auxiliary equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-oriented approach.
• Pro-active, self-driven, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out troubleshooting and routine maintenance for WinGD products; perform on-board commissioning, sea trials, and maiden voyage support for 2-stroke engines.
• Execute service orders from partners/customers and support the building/ delivery process; cooperate with stakeholders.
• Provide technical solutions and support for ship owners.
• Generate service reports, trial reports, and memos for attended activities.
• Maintain HSE during work execution and prepare built documentation; ensure time/expense reporting.
