Job summary

A marine engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Service Engineer to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on new generation 2 stroke engines. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering, have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the marine industry, and be knowledgeable about HPS and electronic controlled engines. Qualifications

• At least 5 years working experience with Engine Makers or Marine Industry on new generation engines.
• Possesses Seaman book and has core knowledge and sailing experience on electronic controlled engines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to performance appraisals and development of subordinates.
• Attend services of new gen. 2 Stroke EC engine.
• Carry out service and repair on HPS incl chain drive.
• Assist with inspection, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of diesel engines.
• Control cost of the job by tracking man-hour and material costs.
