Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain automated test handlers at customer cleanrooms in Singapore. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and upgrade systems while ensuring strict safety and cleanroom protocols.

The role includes delivering specialized training to customer teams and building strong, proactive relationships with engineering staff on site.

Qualifications

Degree, Diploma, or NITEC/ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Hands-on technical or equipment service experience in semiconductor cleanroom.
Training provided for candidates with no experience.
Vehicle ownership entitles car allowance; otherwise reimbursement.
Prior knowledge of semiconductor automated test handlers is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems independently.

Responsibilities

Execute installation, commissioning, and buy-off of automated test handlers at customer cleanrooms.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical issues to maximize uptime.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and upgrades per cleanroom safety standards.
Provide specialized technical training for customer engineers and operations staff.
Maintain strong relationships with customer engineering teams through proactive communication.
