Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an Assistant Field Service Engineer (Oil & Gas) based in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting start-up, maintenance and service activities with strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, warranty repairs, and coordinating with customers, service supervisors and logistics to ensure timely deliveries and efficient service execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NTC 2 in mechanical/electro-mechanical/mechatronics engineering.
• 3–5 years of service/engineering experience in a similar industry recommended.
• Class 3 driving licence required (not 3A).

Responsibilities

• Support start-up, contract maintenance and service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance and warranty repairs.
• Assist in service and repair of personnel protection equipment, safety activities, and emergency response.
• Coordinate with service team to manage orders through to fulfilment.
• Liaise with customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistics on queries, issues, status and deliveries.
• Ensure efficient equipment turnaround and breakdown responses; support other service activities as needed.
• Communicate technical information clearly to employees, customers and external parties in writing and verbally.
