Job summary

UGENE Lab is seeking a Field Sampling Technician to perform on-site sample collection at client premises, handling and documenting samples in accordance with SOPs and safety standards. The role requires visiting sites, labeling, transporting samples, and coordinating within the team.

The candidate should hold a Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or related fields, be able to travel, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC or Higher NITEC in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Must have valid Class 3 and/or 2A driving licence.
• Able to travel to client premises and work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; Mandarin skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to perform sampling.
• Collect samples such as food, water, surface swabs, or other materials according to approved procedures.
• Ensure proper sample labelling, preservation, storage, and transportation.
• Complete field documentation, chain-of-custody forms, and sampling records accurately.
• Coordinate sampling schedules within the team.
• Support laboratory activities when required.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Field Sampling Technician to conduct on-site sample collection activities at client premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, handling, documenting, and transporting samples in accordance with laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·Visit client sites to perform sampling.

·Collect samples such as food, water, surface swabs, or other materials according to approved procedures.

Requirements
