Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a QC Inspector to perform quality, safety and compliance inspections for lift and escalator systems across Singapore. This is a field-based role, primarily covering operational buildings, with occasional commissioning and handover inspections.

You will inspect components, read OEM documentation, and ensure compliance with ISO and statutory requirements while coordinating with engineering teams at multiple sites across the city-state.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in lift/escalator maintenance, servicing, installation, inspection or QA/QC.
• Reading and understanding technical drawings, manuals and OEM documentation.
• Comfortable working at different sites, including height access and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visual, quality and safety inspections.
• Inspect lift and escalator components, including motors, controls, brakes, doors and safety devices.
• Perform functional safety checks such as emergency stops, alarms and door interlocks.
• Identify defects, hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams on rectification works.
• Support commissioning and system handover inspections when required.
• Ensure work complies with statutory, ISO and OEM requirements.
