Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Process Engineer 3 in Singapore to support customer installations, training, and process improvements. You will work closely with customers to understand technical roadmaps and implement solutions on-site, including DOE studies and data analyses.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with willingness to travel short-term and work in a fab environment. On-site presence is expected for critical support and startup activities.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc/BS with relevant field and experience as specified.
• Analytical mindset and systematic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to engage customers on technical solutions.
• Work in Fab environment and standby duties.
• Willing to travel overseas short term.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account team and customers to understand technology roadmaps, processes, and business issues.
• Coordinate with Global Product Group on product demonstrations and strategy.
• Startup capacity-add Lam systems and match results to existing equipment.
• Design and run DOE evaluations to map process windows for new installations or modifications.
• Run experiments, collect data, and generate reports for internal/external use.
• Develop new processes for existing and new customer applications.
• Represent Lam professionally to customers and identify additional needs.
