Job summary

The National University of Singapore's Institute of Policy Studies invites applications for an Executive (Field Operations Management) in its Social Lab. Qualifications

• Degree or diploma holder, preferably with public sector project experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
• Demonstrated ability in team motivation, supervision and leadership.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for field supervision and coordination.
• Prior experience in fieldwork operations or data collection management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong command of English with proficiency in at least one additional language – Chinese, Malay, or Tamil.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Field Manager with project setup and planning.
• Coordinate and oversee fieldwork activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Recruit, train, and supervise field interviewers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Brief and supervise interviewers on fieldwork assignments.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy and quality of collected data.
• Manage project resources efficiently to achieve timely completion of fieldwork.
• Verify data accuracy and acceptability before processing payments to interviewers and/or recruiters.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including various ministries in Singapore, to ensure successful project delivery.
