  • Willingness to travel for field supervision and coordination.
  • Prior experience in fieldwork operations or data collection management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong command of English with proficiency in at least one additional language – Chinese, Malay, or Tamil.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Field Manager with project setup and planning.
  • Coordinate and oversee fieldwork activities to ensure smooth execution.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including various ministries in Singapore, to ensure successful project delivery.

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is an autonomous research institute within National University of Singapore. IPS is seeking to hire an Executive (Field Operations Management) for its Social Lab. This role supports the Field Manager in executing fieldwork duties for research projects and overseeing a team of interviewers to ensure the collection of high-quality and timely data through face-to-face, door-to-door, and computer-assisted telephone interviews using structured questionnaires.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Field Manager withproject setup and planning;
  • Coordinate and overseefieldwork activities to ensure smooth execution;
  • Recruit, train, and supervise fieldinterviewers to meet project timelines and quality standards;
