Job summary

ALCO AUTOMATION PTE LTD is seeking a field service technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process instrumentation and gas detection systems in Singapore. You will support startup activities, safety programs, and warranty repairs while ensuring efficient turnaround of equipment.

You will liaise with customers, service supervisors, and logistics to address queries, status, and deliveries, and you will document technical information and post-service reports clearly for all

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and instruments.
• Participate in field service and repair of process instrumentation, gas detection systems, and safety-related tasks.
• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety.
• Select suitable instruments based on customer specs orTender documents.
• Provide instrumentation solutions based on end-user applications and data sheets.
• Liaise with customers, service supervisors, coordinators and logistics on queries, issues, status and deliveries.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are efficient.
• Communicate technical information and post-service reports clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Carry out service work in compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide support for other duties as required.
