The Application Engineer supports customers throughout the solution lifecycle, from pre‑sales consultation to commissioning, training, troubleshooting and post‑sales support for our systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical/electronics, power, mechatronics, automation, or computer engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical support or related roles.
• Knowledge of test & measurement, power systems, power electronics, or industrial automation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, Python or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer discussions.
• Support solution sizing, product selection, and proposal preparation.
• Assist with technical marketing activities, seminars, and exhibitions.
• Perform system installation, setup, commissioning, and onboarding.
• Facilitate customer training and getting-started guidance.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and coordinate issue resolution with principals.

Role Overview

The Application Engineer supports customers across the entire solution lifecycle, including pre-sales consultation, system commissioning, training, troubleshooting, and post-sales support. The role covers Test & Measurement Systems, Real-Time Simulation (Power Systems, Power Electronics & Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL), EV Charging Test Solutions, and Power Conversion & Energy Test Systems, working closely with customers, principals, and the sales team to ensure successful solution deployment and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with customers, technology partners, and the sales team, the Application Engineer plays a key role in ensuring successful solution implementation, optimal system performance, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong technical foundation, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to deliver effective solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Technical Support

• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer discussions
• Support solution sizing, product selection, and proposal preparation
• Assisst with technical marketing activities, seminars, and exhibitions

Commissioning & Customer Support

• Perform system installation, setup, commissioning, and onboarding
• Facilitate customer training and getting-started guidance
• Provide technical troubleshooting and coordinate issue resolution with principals

Integration & Product Validation

• Support system integration and application development projects
• Perform incoming equipment inspection and validation
• Maintain demonstration systems and prepare technical documentation

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power, Mechatronics, Automation, or Computer Engineering
• 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in technical support. Knowledge of test and measurement, power systems, power electronics, or industrial automation will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, Python, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills
• Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience or mid-career professionals are welcome to apply. Suitable candidates may be considered for Senior Engineer or Application Manager positions, with compensation commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
