Job summary

A Wealth and Investment Bank in Singapore is seeking an experienced FCC Director to oversee all FCC matters and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Compliance, particularly in financial crime, and strong stakeholder management skills. This is a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's AML processes and monitoring high-risk transactions.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in Compliance, ideally with FCC.
  • Strong background in Financial Crime Compliance, preferably in brokerage or wealth management.
  • Experience in a regulated financial services firm.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all FCC matters across Singapore.
  • Implement and enhance AML/CFT/Sanctions processes.
  • Monitor high-risk transactions and perform risk assessments.
  • Ensure AML policies comply with regulations.
  • Conduct investigations on alerts and red flags.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Role

My client is a Wealth and Investment Bank and we are looking for a FCC Director in Singapore. Reporting up to the Regional Head, you will be overseeing all FCC matters across Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Subject matter expert for all FCC Compliance policies and framework within the business
  • Implement and enhance the AML / CFT / Sanctions and Anti Bribery related processes
  • Monitor any high risk transactions and perform Risk assessments for the business
  • Assess the impact of the Risk profile, and mitigate any gaps within the business
  • Monitor any changes in regulatory developments and ensure the AML policies are in line with laws and regulations
  • Carry out investigation work should there be any alerts, red flags etc

    Requirements
    • At least 10 years of experience in Compliance – ideally with FCC and Account opening experience
    • A Bachelors degree in a related field.
    • Strong in Financial Crime Compliance – ideally in a brokerage or wealth management business.
    • Experience in a regulated financial services firm
    • Ability to manage and work with regional stakeholders
