Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte Ltd in Bedok, Singapore, is seeking a technician to conduct failure analysis using tools including digital multimeters, microscopes, and electrical testing equipment. The role involves destructive analysis, component removal, and supporting report preparation.

The ideal candidate holds a Nitec or Diploma in Electronic and/or Electrical Engineering, with 0–2 years experience; 1 year in manufacturing is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Electronic and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
• 0-2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct failure analysis using various tools and instruments, including digital multimeters, digital microscopes, and electrical testing equipment.
• Perform destructive analysis techniques, including cross-sectioning, teardown, and decapsulation.
• Perform component removal processes, including desoldering and PCB cutting using appropriate tools.
• Willing to learn and operate advanced analytical equipment such as X-ray inspection systems and SEM/EDX.
• Communicate failure analysis findings and observations to engineers to support further investigation and report preparation.

Education

Nitec or Diploma in Electronic and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Job description

• Basic Up to $3200 (depends on experience)

• Mon – Fri / 8.15am – 5.15pm

• Office at Bedok (with transport pick up at MRT)

• Perm role with full benefits
