Job summary

TRIO-TECH INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking engineers to manage technical evaluations and root-cause failure analyses for returned semiconductor equipment. You will support CAPA actions, report defect trends, and work with vendors on warranty claims.

This entry-level role welcomes OJT and training, with opportunities to develop testing procedures and improve the repair cycle within a collaborative cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• NITEC or higher in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or related field.
• OJT provided for entry-level candidates.
• Experience in product testing or hardware failure analysis is an advantage.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools and basic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose returned products to identify root causes of failures.
• Generate detailed reports on defect trends and failure mechanisms.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to implement CAPA.
• Coordinate with suppliers on defective components and warranty claims.

We are looking for Engineers to manage technical evaluations, root-cause failure analysis (FA), and engineering support for returned semiconductor equipment.

Job Description

Failure Analysis

Diagnose returned products to identify root causes of component or system failures.

Reporting

Generate detailed technical reports detailing defect trends and failure mechanisms.

Corrective Action

Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

Vendor Management

Coordinate with suppliers regarding defective components and warranty claims.

Process Improvement

Refine testing procedures and documentation to optimize the repair and return cycle.

Requirements

• Entry level are welcomed to apply , OJT will be provided.
• Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer engineering or related field.
• Experience in product testing, quality assurance, or hardware failure analysis is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with basic diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters), schematics, and RMA tracking software (if any).
• Able to work in a cross functional team with great communication skill.
