Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical, electrical or construction engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; AutoCAD preferred.
• At least 2 years of construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Factory Production Manager in supervising factory team leaders and workers; oversee fabrication work for quality and efficiency, using AutoCAD drawings and designs.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines with weekly safety meetings (WSH).
• Coordinate daily work plans, PPE, goods arrival and unloading for timely execution.
• Monitor materials in and out; maintain inventory accuracy and up-to-date records.
• Organize and maintain factory storage and inventory movement for smooth operations.
• Assist sourcing cost-effective materials overseas and liaise with suppliers for stock replenishment.
• Involve in ISO documentation processes.
• Plan manpower and train workers to ensure skill readiness.
• Use AutoCAD and fabrication knowledge to check drawings and weld quality.

Our client is an established Singapore-based construction and engineering company, specialising in building construction and specialised construction works. They are currently hiring a Factory Production Supervisor to oversee fabrication activities, production planning, manpower, inventory and factory operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Factory Production Manager in supervising the factory/production Team Leaders and workers by overseeing fabrication work for quality consistency and operation efficiency, based on AutoCad drawings and Designs and prepare weekly production plan.

• Ensure all workers follow industry standard health and safety guidelines with weekly WSH safety meeting.

• Make sure daily work plan, PPE, goods arrival and unloading are carried out smoothly, timely, and completely.

• Check Team Leaders record of materials in and out of factory to project sites, all stock and inventory is maintained with accuracy and up to date.

• Organize and upkeep factory storage and movement of inventory are smooth and efficient.

• Assist to source better and cost savings materials from overseas and liaise with overseas suppliers for stock replenishing.

• Involve in ISO documentation.

• Manpower planning and workers training to make sure workers are equipped with relevant knowledge and skills.

• Need AutoCAD and fabrication knowledge to check drawings and making sure welders are fabricating correctly.

• Assist purchaser to source for materials overseas.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma in either mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering or other relevant discipline.

• Required skill(s), MS Office, MS Project AutoCad (prefer).

• At least 2 years’ work experience in the construction industry.
