Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead production, warehouse and logistics within an industrial/food manufacturing setting.
You will oversee daily factory operations, ensure schedules meet sales forecasts, maintain quality and safety standards (HACCP/GMP), and drive process improvements, automation, and cost control across the plant and warehouse teams.
Up till$7500 basic + Variable Bonus (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

Production Management
Oversee daily factory production operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Ensure production schedules are met according to sales forecasts and delivery timelines.
Monitor production output, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
Optimise manufacturing processes, manpower utilisation, and equipment performance.
Coordinate with the R&D team on new product trials and production scale-up.
Warehouse and Inventory Management
Oversee the warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure accurate inventory management of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Implement and maintain warehouse systems, including barcoding, scanning, and inventory tracking.
Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
Optimise warehouse layout and racking systems to improve storage efficiency.
Logistics and Distribution Coordination
Coordinate with procurement, logistics providers, and transporters for inbound and outbound shipments.
Ensure timely dispatch of goods to customers and export shipments.
Monitor loading, unloading, and material handling procedures.
Manage freight scheduling and warehouse dispatch planning.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, workplace safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Implement and monitor HACCP, GMP, and quality control procedures.
Ensure proper documentation for inventory movement and production records.
Maintain a safe working environment in both the factory and warehouse areas.
Process Improvement and Automation
Identify opportunities to improve factory productivity and warehouse automation.
Implement systems such as barcoding, and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Improve inventory accuracy, picking efficiency, and stock visibility.
Drive initiatives to reduce wastage, stock discrepancies, and operational bottlenecks.
Team Management
Supervise production staff, warehouse personnel, and forklift operators.
Allocate manpower effectively across production and warehouse operations.
Provide training on operational procedures, equipment handling, and safety practices.
Conduct performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting and Coordination
Prepare operational reports on production output, warehouse inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
Work closely with procurement, finance, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor cost control in production and warehouse operations.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, preferably in food manufacturing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
Have food Manufacturing industry and experiences working in plant.
