Job summary

BHS Kinetic Pte Ltd is seeking a Facility Assistant in Singapore to handle electrical installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance for the company premises and staff dormitories.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safety and compliance with Singapore EMA regulations. A valid EMA LEW Grade 7 license and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 license registered in Singapore.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in Singapore.
• Experience in factory, commercial premises or staff dormitory maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, repair, preventive maintenance and general facility maintenance works.
• Conduct regular electrical inspections, testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Attend to electrical faults, breakdowns and urgent maintenance matters during working hours.

• Liaise and coordinate with contractors for repair, servicing and maintenance works.
• Monitor and follow up on contractors’ work to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and documentation.

Facility Assistant

Working Hours : Mon-Fri, 8:30am to 5:30pm, Sat 8:30am to 12:30pm

Employment Type: Permanent / Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, repair, preventive maintenance and general facility maintenance works.
• Conduct regular electrical inspections, testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Attend to electrical faults, breakdowns and urgent maintenance matters during working hours.
• Perform daily maintenance of company premises and staff dormitories to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
• Liaise and coordinate with contractors for repair, servicing and maintenance works.
• Monitor and follow up on contractors’ work to ensure completed works meet the required standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and documentation of completed works.
• Submit maintenance and inspection reports as required.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely and in compliance with applicable Singapore electrical regulations and safety requirements.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the Facility Manager on improvements to facility operations and maintenance.
• Assist in identifying potential electrical and facility-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Carry out any other facility maintenance duties or tasks assigned by the Facility Manager.

Requirements

• Possess a valid EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 licence registered in Singapore.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in Singapore.
• Experience in factory, commercial premises or staff dormitory maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical inspection, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Familiar with Singapore electrical safety requirements and the EMA Electricity Act.
• Able to maintain proper maintenance records and inspection reports.
• Able to communicate in basic English and Mandarin.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands‑on maintenance work.
• Careful, responsible and safety‑conscious with good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with contractors and internal teams.
• Willing and able to attend to urgent electrical maintenance matters during working hours.
