Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Facilities Tool Install Engineer to oversee site plans and design for manufacturing tool install activities and cleanroom maintenance.

You will coordinate with contractors, ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence, and drive continual improvement in facilities utilities for production tools. Required are a engineering degree, familiarity with HVAC/exhaust systems, sustainability awareness, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• Design and Engineering background of mechanical systems such as HVAC or exhaust is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sustainability efforts (electricity, waste, water reduction) is a plus.
• Automation skills with MS Office suite; Excel VBA is a plus.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Effective communicator capable of cross‑level collaboration.
• Growth mindset and continuous learning attitude.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and impact; knowledge of Micron is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to environmental safety health policy and procedures during work.
• Ensure systems and procedures support department goals and objectives.
• Coordinate resources to achieve goals and objectives.
• Understand design philosophy of facilities utilities for production tools.
• Plan and implement tool hookups for new/conversion/relocation tools.
• Update utilities database to support production tools.
• Supervise capital and expense expenditure related to tool install.
• Lead tool install contractors to comply with EHS, risk assessments, and permits.
