Job summary

Micron is seeking an experienced Facilities Tool Install Engineer in Singapore to supervise site plans and implement manufacturing tool-install activities and preventive maintenance programs. You will coordinate with contractors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance while planning utilities for tool locations.

The role requires planning hookups for tool changes, leading capital and expense expenditure, and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
Design/Engineering background in mechanical systems (HVAC, exhaust) is advantageous.
Familiarity with sustainability efforts.
Proficient with MS Office; Excel VBA is a plus.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience or internship in semiconductor industry is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership and impact.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety, SOPs and housekeeping standards.
Plan and implement equipment hookups for new or relocated tools.
Coordinate with contractors to ensure tool-install activities meet safety, quality, schedule and budget.
Review equipment hookup drawings and approve updates.
Lead tool-install contractors and manage schedules and resources.
Drive continual quality and cost-reduction improvements in tool-install activities.
