Job summary

The Facilities Technician at AEM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. ensures smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of factory facilities and equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, coordinating repairs, and supporting a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, coordinating with vendors, keeping maintenance logs, and adhering to safety standards to minimise downtime and ensure regulatory compliance across the manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Must have NITEC or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong communication/coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure facility functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and facility issues promptly to minimise operational disruptions.
• Maintain and repair facility fixtures and infrastructure such as lighting, doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and flooring.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain and calibrate facility-related equipment to ensure operational accuracy.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with external vendors or service providers for repairs.
• Support initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and comply with regulatory requirements to maintain a safe environment.
