Job summary

The Lentor Residence Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to maintain and repair the nursing home's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot faults, and support safety and regulatory compliance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You should have 2–3 years of relevant experience and a background in mechanical, electrical, or facilities management.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• GCE N-Level, NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management or related disciplines preferred, but not mandatory
• Hands-on experience in facilities maintenance will be considered

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing and sanitary fixtures, carpentry and minor civil works, mechanical systems, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and medical equipment
• Ensure all works comply with workplace safety, fire safety, and regulatory requirements
• Identify potential hazards or defects and report them to the Operations Manager/Assistant Operations Manager
• Support emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, or system breakdowns
• Troubleshoot faults and assist with installations
• Support AMR operations and facility management systems
• Assist in safety measures, fire drills, and compliance with WSH regulations
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and manage spare parts inventory
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Perform basic housekeeping and facility upkeep tasks as needed
