Job summary

SHARE RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Building Technician to handle routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic electrical tasks across our facilities in Singapore. You will inspect, maintain, repair minor defects in doors, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and fittings, and coordinate with contractors for specialized work.

This role requires hands-on experience, the ability to interpret electrical diagrams, and the discipline to maintain service records.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams.
• Ability to perform basic electrical hands-on works.
• Careful and methodical approach to tasks.
• Good safety awareness and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of the building, facilities, and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Repair minor defects involving doors, locks, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and fittings.
• Identify building defects and report major issues for further action.
• Carry out basic electrical inspections and minor repairs.
• Check lighting, switches, sockets, distribution boards, and other electrical equipment.
• Replace lamps, ballasts, and other approved electrical components.
• Report electrical faults requiring a licensed electrician.
• Maintain service records and checklists.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized maintenance.
• Attend to maintenance complaints and equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot faults and restore basic services where possible.
