Temasek Polytechnic (TP) in Singapore invites applications for a Temporary Project and Facilities Management Executive on an 11-month contract. The role focuses on maintaining campus facilities, reviewing maintenance records, and supporting project administration across contractors and consultants.

The candidate should have FM/construction experience, be adept at reading BQ/SOR documents, conduct site inspections, and use MS Office effectively to manage records and communications.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret construction and FM documents such as Bills of Quantities (BQ), Schedules of Rates (SOR), variation orders, work orders and construction-related documents.
• Comfortable conducting site inspections, physical checks and walkthroughs in construction sites, plant rooms and operational facilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance audits and checks to verify completion and compliance with maintenance requirements.
• Assist in reviewing Job Completion Sheets and supporting records submitted by service providers for selected maintenance works, before payment.
• Conduct site inspections and walkthroughs of campus facilities, plant rooms, and building services installations.
• Support selected projects by reviewing quantities and participating in detailed site walkthroughs with consultants.
• Assist in reviewing and refining Schedules of Rates (SORs) through analysis of historical purchase orders, completed projects, frequently used items and strategic-rate items.
• Assist in reviewing final account submissions and variation orders, including verification of SOR descriptions, rates, references, quantities and supporting records.
• Compile, validate and maintain project, maintenance and asset‑related records, reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers, consultants and stakeholders and provide ad‑hoc project and administrative support.
