Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support preventive, corrective, and progressive maintenance of critical equipment. You will work with vendors, interpret PM checklists, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will apply AI-enabled insights for efficiency, participate in training, and help maintain mechanical systems such as MAUs, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and cooling towers while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

NiTEC/Higher NiTEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Min 3 years of mechanical field experience
Proficient in MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word
Knowledge of bearings, belts, pulleys, couplings, and motor health

Responsibilities

Generate and close Work Orders for PM and CM timely
Plan, liaise with vendors, raise permits, implement PM works promptly
Retrieve SOP/RA/PTP and PM checklists
Plan and track Progressive Maintenance Regime and related inventories
Raise Purchase Requests for jobs/materials if not in inventory
Assist engineers in root cause finding using 8D/5-Whys and implement corrective actions
Participate in in-house training and TPM/cost-saving projects
Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards
