Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in facilities management.
• Ability to coach and evaluate staff performance.
• Experience in recruiting and hiring processes.
• Strong scheduling and task assignment capabilities.
• Vendor coordination and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and coach staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Schedule and manage team daily activities; establish work schedules and tasks.
• Set and track department deadlines; mentor as needed.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, budgets and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational improvements.
• Oversee EH&S procedures for facilities and ensure compliance.
• Review quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor.
• Conduct process & procedure training on maintenance, repairs and safety.
