We’re searching for a Engineer/ Senior Engineer to be part of our Facilities Department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to provide facilities support pertaining to Clean Room, Chillers and HVAC Systems, Environmental Protection Systems, Process Utilities Supply Systems, Building Services and Maintenance, and other miscellaneous mechanical and facilities systems to wafer fabrication so as to ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications.
To provide facilities support pertaining to Clean Room, Chillers and HVAC systems, Environmental Protection Systems, Process Utilities Supply Systems, Building Services and Maintenance, and other miscellaneous mechanical and facilities systems to wafer fabrication so as to ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications
Formulate, implement, review and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for systems in charge so as to ensure that the systems function as intended at all times
Carry out repair and troubleshooting of systems in order to restore systems to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time. Carry out root cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence
Able to formulate effective reporting and tracking systems for monitoring of system performance and capacity usage. Recommend and implement improvement/enhancement projects where appropriate.
Formulate, implement, review and improve operating procedures so as to ensure optimum operation of systems
Monitor and review utility consumptions and work with users to implement projects to reduce the consumption where possible
Knowledge of all relevant standards, legislations, codes of practice etc and ensure their compliance
Provide guidance and training on the systems in charge to fellow colleagues so as ensure adequate working knowledge and system backup
Ensure plant histories, drawings, data and other appropriate documentations are being generated and properly filed for future reference and review.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate spares, consumables and other resources necessary for the day-to-day operation of the systems.
Conductproject supervisions.
Master / Degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Building or equivalent
1-5 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry. Hands-on experience in day to day operation and maintenance essential.
Fresh graduates are considered as well
Experienced in managing cleanroom (Class 100 environment) systems
Operation and maintenance of building air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation and clean room system
Operation and maintenance of large industrial size chillers up to 1500 RT and associated supporting systems
Operation and maintenance of Environmental Protection system such as wet, dry and thermal scrubbers, and VOC abatement system
Operation and maintenance of process utilities supply systems such as water and vacuum systems.
Provide building services and maintenance, including building facilities repair and upgrading, housekeeping, landscaping and pest control
Knowledge of maintenance principles and good engineering practices
Ability to supervise small improvement projects for the above
