Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a facilities manager to own a portfolio of properties and oversee operations, with a focus on sustainability and cost control. The role involves coordinating vendors, budgeting, and guiding development projects from planning through completion.

The successful candidate will manage contracts, monitor performance, and drive green initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Facilities Management or related discipline.
• Able to communicate confidently with stakeholders.
• Experience in managing vendors, contracts and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure properties and facilities operate smoothly and are maintained to a high standard.
• Lead vendors, contractors and operators across maintenance, cleaning, landscaping and pest-control services.
• Monitor service standards, contract performance and timely completion of works.
• Coordinate retrofitting, upgrading and infrastructure development projects.
• Plan facilities budgets and work with Procurement on tenders and contract awards.
• Review operational needs of new facilities during planning and design stages.
• Drive green initiatives involving energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Support environmental, workplace safety and health policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify facilities-related hazards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and public agencies on property and safety matters

Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of operational and tenanted properties. This is more than a routine maintenance role-you will shape how facilities are operated, improved and made more sustainable, while managing vendors, contracts, budgets and development projects.

Monday to Friday, Office Hour

Govt Project Opportunity

12 months contract, renewable

Up to $4,100 per month

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure properties, facilities and supporting infrastructure operate smoothly and are maintained to a high standard
• Lead vendors, contractors and operators across maintenance, cleaning, landscaping and pest-control services
• Monitor service standards, contract performance and the timely completion of works
• Coordinate retrofitting, upgrading and infrastructure development projects
• Plan facilities budgets and work with Procurement on tenders and contract awards
• Review the operational and maintenance needs of new facilities during the planning and design stages
• Drive green initiatives involving energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable facilities management
• Support environmental, workplace safety and health policies
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential facilities-related hazards
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, public agencies and external partners on property, safety and operational matters

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Able to communicate confidently and manage different stakeholders
