Job summary

Wesmech Engineering Pte Ltd is hiring a facilities operations lead for multiple client sites in Singapore. You will oversee daily maintenance, safety, and service delivery while coordinating on-site teams and external providers.

The role requires a degree/diploma in civil engineering or facilities management, 5+ years in construction/operations, and strong leadership and communication skills. A Class 3 driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Built Environment, or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction and/or Operations.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, crisis management, budgeting, and cross-functional communication.
• Class 3 Driving License.
• Preferably CSCPM or WSH certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational execution, maintenance, and service delivery across client buildings or multi-site campuses.
• Manage day-to-day building activities, including maintenance workflows and service schedules, on-site resources.
• Oversee critical building infrastructure and plumbing works, tracking preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Supervise subcontractors and third-party service providers to support maintenance regime.
• Enforce local workplace safety laws, fire safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor operating expenses, track utility consumption, and assist in preparing budgets.
• Serve as primary point of contact for building owners, providing updates and handling escalations.
• Utilize CMMS or similar platforms to log work orders and asset lifecycles.
• Train, schedule, and mentor on-site operations staff and maintenance technicians.

Scope of work

1. Lead the daily operational execution, maintenance, and service delivery across client buildings or multi-site campuse

2. Manage day-to-day building activities, including maintenance workflows, service schedules, and on-site resources to ensure uninterrupted facility performance

3. Oversee critical building infrastructure and plumbing works, tracking both preventive and corrective maintenance plans

4. Supervise subcontractors and third-party service providers to support maintenance regime

5. Enforce local workplace safety laws, fire safety protocols, environmental regulations

6. Monitor operating expenses, track utility consumption, manage resource deployment, and assist in preparing operational and capital budgets

7. Serve as a primary point of contact for building owners, providing regular performance updates, handling complaints, and resolving escalations

8. Utilize Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or other property tech platforms to log work orders, asset lifecycles, and compliance records

9. Train, schedule, and mentor on-site operations staff, supervisors, and maintenance technicians

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Built Environment or Facilities Management

Minimum 5 year working experience in Construction and/or Operations

Strong problem-solving, leadership, crisis management, budget tracking, and cross-functional communication abilities

Class 3 Driving License

Preferably with CSCPM or WSH related certification
