Job summary

The Engineering Assistant (Facilities & Maintenance) at StandardBioTools Singapore Pte. Ltd. is responsible for equipment maintenance and performance improvements at our manufacturing site.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, show initiative, and manage a diverse range of equipment across facilities from stores to shipping. Typical duties include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives to boost uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• NTC or Diploma in electro-mechanical engineering.
• Willing to learn and multi-skill across processes.
• Cleanroom experience and safety awareness preferred.
• Willing to work rotating shifts in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Daily equipment checklist and DM meeting participation.
• Respond to urgent repairs and optimise equipment performance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized work.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Review downtime trends and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support installation and IQ/OQ for new equipment.
