Job summary

Pan-United Concrete Pte Ltd seeks a site engineer to oversee safety compliance and technical drawing reviews on active construction sites. You will collaborate with engineers and the facilities manager to ensure works meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), 1–2 years of construction experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Independent work style and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant construction field experience; entry level welcomed.
• Ability to work independently under tight schedules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and comply with safety and health procedures at the project site at all times.
• Ensure all contractors comply with safety and health procedures at the site.
• Develop method statements and risk assessments for works; implement control measures.
• Review and develop technical drawings for projects with the Facilities Manager.
• Coordinate with Professional Engineer to ensure designs are sound and compliant.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions before and after works.
• Verify construction is in accordance with design plans.
• Ensure facilities are constructed per plans.
• Develop project work schedules and update superiors on changes.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors to meet timelines.
• Update progress and concerns regularly with superiors.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of newly erected batching plant before handover.
