Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore invites applications for a 1 year contract Facilities Engineer based at Joo Koon. The role covers day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building facilities and systems to ensure safety and efficiency.

You will support preventive maintenance, respond to facility issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Strong hands-on knowledge in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of building/facility maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs of building structures, fixtures, and facilities.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Troubleshoot and respond to facility-related issues and breakdowns.
• Monitor facility equipment and report abnormal conditions.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Support fire safety systems checks and general safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using maintenance systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Support office layout changes, furniture installation, and equipment relocation as required.
