Job summary
SEIKO Manufacturing (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a facade design professional to prepare shop drawings and design sketches for curtain wall projects in Singapore. You will review and coordinate with clients, main contractors, architects and consultants to resolve design issues and ensure timely approvals.
The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with at least 2 years of facade design experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight schedules.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in architecture, design or engineering.
- Minimum 2 years facade design experience.
- Familiar with curtain wall systems and shop drawing processes.
Responsibilities
- Create facade shop drawings and design sketches.
- Review structural and architectural drawings for issues.
- Attend meetings to resolve design issues and record minutes.
- Coordinate with clients, main contractor, architect and consultants for design & technical concerns.
- Raise RFIs for design/technical concerns.
- Provide technical advice to team.
- Submit shop drawings and track approvals.
- Monitor shop drawing and approval schedule.
- Monitor the design changes or additional scope of work.
- Assist the site team with design-related issues.
- Prepare fabrication drawings.
- Prepare and submit material samples and follow up until approval.
