Job summary

GTM Aluminium Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a BIM Coordinator with expertise in Revit and AutoCAD to lead 3D model development for curtain wall and aluminium facade projects. You will produce shop drawings, ensure BIM compliance with BEP and government requirements, and coordinate with clients and authorities on submissions.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in curtain wall/aluminium facade works, strong organisation, and clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Min 3 years related experience in curtain wall/aluminium facade works.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in Revit and CAD software for design and drafting tasks.
• Understand and manage 3D model-based shop drawings (Architectural/Structure).
• Ensure projects comply with BIM guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Manage 3D modelling and quality per Project BIM requirements.
• Submit drawings and BIM models to clients and authorities.
• Develop and review 3D models and translate to 2D drawings.
• Generate reports on BIM progress, clashes, and design adjustments.
• Implement QA/QC for BIM deliverables and BEP compliance.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date BIM data with secure information handling.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and prepare minutes.
• Plan work schedule to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and update architectural detail drawings.
• Coordinate concept, shop and detail drawings for projects and tenders.
• Prepare materials take-offs and production drawings for fabrication.
• Maintain project documentation and client communications.

Job description

Demonstrate expertise in Revit and CAD software for design and drafting tasks.

Understand and manage the process of 3D model-based shop drawings (Architectural/Structure).

Ensure projects are completed in accordance to BIM guidelines and compliance with the relevant government regulatory requirements.

Manage the process of 3D modelling (Architectural/Structure) and quality as per Project BIM requirement.

Make submissions to clients and relevant authorities and ensure all forms, drawings and BIM models are submitted.

Develop and review 3D models, translating them into accurate 2D drawings.

Generate regular reports on BIM model progress, clashes identified/resolved, and any design adjustments needed.

Implement QA/QC processes for BIM deliverables, ensuring that models are compliant with the BEP and meet project requirements while managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Ensure that data within the BIM models is accurate, up-to-date and securely managed, following digital information security protocols.

Attend Technical and BIM Coordination Meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting for BIM Coordination Meetings.

Organise & plan work schedule to meet deadline.

Prepare, revise, update architectural detail drawings.

Plan & prepare all drawings in accordance to standard procedures.

Co-ordinate and produce concept drawings, shop and detail drawings for projects, tender submissions, etc.

Prepare materials take-off for projects and issue production drawings/cutting lists for fabrication.

Maintain project documentation and records, prepare reports, letters, presentations to clients.

Updating as-built drawings for final submissions.

Perform any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by higher management.

Knowledge of local authorities' rules and regulations related to curtain wall facade, aluminium facade and related works.

Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.

Min 3 years related experience in the field of curtain wall facade, aluminium facade and related works.

Good organisation and communication skills.

Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.

Must have Certificate in Autodesk AUTOCAD and Autodesk REVIT Architectural.
